As the Merce Cunningham Dance Company celebrates its 50th anniversary and the Kronos Quartet its 30th, they join forces with esteemed artist Robert Rauschenberg in the East Coast premiere of MinEvent with Kronos Quartet. The Kronos Quartet will perform John Cage’s Thirty Pieces for String Quartet, composed for the ensemble by Cage in 1983. Also on the program will be Interscape (2000) by Cunningham, Cage, and Rauschenberg.
